- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus; we provide training for enthusiastic candidates.
- CPR and First Aid certification (we can assist in obtaining if needed).
- A compassionate, patient demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers (lifting up to 50 lbs).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (as required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Prepare nutritious meals that align with dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe home environment through light housekeeping.
- Provide medication reminders and engage in friendly companionship.
- Offer emotional support and promote mental and emotional wellness.
- Observe and report any changes in clients’ conditions to the care team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain cohesive care plans.
- Adhere to company policies and state regulations to ensure top-quality care.
