- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but we are happy to train compassionate and committed candidates.
- CPR and First Aid certification (assistance with obtaining available).
- A patient, empathetic personality with strong communication skills.
- Ability to assist with mobility and transfers (lifting up to 50 lbs).
- Reliable vehicle for occasional errands or appointments (as required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Support meal preparation and perform light housekeeping to ensure a clean and comfortable living space.
- Provide medication reminders and foster companionship by engaging in activities that promote social interaction.
- Offer emotional support and encourage mental well-being.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ condition, behavior, or environment to the care team.
- Follow company policies and state regulations to maintain the highest standards of care.
