Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous caregiving experience, especially with seniors, is advantageous.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (support for obtaining certification available).
  • A compassionate and patient personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assist with mobility and transfers (lifting up to 50 lbs).
  • Reliable transportation may be necessary for certain errands or appointments.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Dependable work ethic and a commitment to providing outstanding care.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Administer medications and manage schedules per physician’s orders.
  • Prepare healthy, enjoyable meals while catering to specific dietary needs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized living environment with light housekeeping tasks.
  • Provide companionship, engaging clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
  • Offer emotional support and encourage a positive well-being.
  • Monitor and report any significant changes in clients’ condition or behavior to the care team.
  • Comply with company policies and state regulations to ensure exceptional standards of care.
